I teach Swahili because I love what happens when language becomes a doorway to discovering another way of seeing the world.

In Level 2, we build on your existing knowledge and create more confidence in speaking, understanding and expressing yourself in Swahili.

We work with language in context, expanding vocabulary and grammar while exploring everyday situations, culture and communication.

ADVANCED SWAHILI

For learners who want to go further.

This is a space to deepen your Swahili through conversation, reading, discussion and authentic material.

We move beyond exercises and textbooks and start engaging with Swahili as a living language.

READING SWAHILI

One novel. One language. Many worlds.

Together, we read a novel in Swahili.

We take the time to explore the language, the story and the cultural world behind the words. We read, discuss, question, translate, laugh, struggle and discover.

Because sometimes the best way to learn a language is simply to get lost in a good story.

WHY SWAHILI?

Swahili has been part of my own journey for many years.

What started as a language to learn became a way to connect with people, places, stories and cultures that continue to inspire me.

Through BLOOOM, I want to create a room where others can discover Swahili too — not only as a language to study, but as a language to experience.
